The long awaited Issue 6...
It has been a while since our last newsletter and many
things have happened in the intervening time.
Over the past year we have seen the demise of several music shops in our
region. The Bristol Violin Shop however is booming.
The shop itself has undergone a major
transformation. The layout of the shop has changed to house our strings and
accessories; we recently added a new bass room which has enabled us to double
our stock of basses and bows; we have far more violas than ever before and an
ever-expanding selection of cases for all instruments.
We have professional musicians/teachers working in the
shop every day of the week to offer advice on choosing instruments,
chin/shoulder rest problems as well as offering
advice on stringing and set ups. If you require specialist attention,
please phone to book an appointment with the relevant member of staff.
Customers are always welcome to try out instruments;
it is not always necessary to book a room in advance but it is advisable as
lunchtimes, Saturdays and holidays can be very busy.
Many apologies to those of you who have
received this newsletter in error. We had a
computer crash a year ago and our customer database reverted to an out of date
version. If you would like to
discontinue receiving this newsletter please either ‘return to sender’ with
your address details still visible or phone us during office hours.
