Over the course of time, an instrument and bow will experience wear and tear, which will eventually result in you having to work harder. Strings will wear out and lose their sound, finger pressure will wear holes in the fingerboard, the bridge may warp, the pegs may not stay in place, or may stiffen up, and the sound post could move. These will all effect the way your instrument performs.

 

The Bristol Violin Shop is known for the quality of its customer service. We undertake the full range of repair and restoration from minor tonal and technical adjustments to major overhauls using the finest traditional materials and techniques.
